Thanks so much for all of your well wishes for Cassie. She is doing better now. Although I may be a bit traumatized from trying to get the meds in her.

Logan is now pulling himself up onto things. I am so not ready for him to be mobile yet. He is growing up way too quickly. Poor Cassie. She just got used to him being around when he started chasing her and heading for her toys. He crawls everywhere and just wants to be down on the floor to explore. Well, that and to chase after his big sisters shoes that light up!

I also can not believe that in 1 month and 2 days, my firstborn baby is going to be 21. It does not seem that long ago that he was learning to walk. Logan reminds me so much of Kris when he was little. It is such a weird feeling to see Logan learning all this new stuff and remembering Kris at that age, and just wanting to hold Kris and not turn him loose out there in that big world. I just hope and pray that I have done my job well enough with him that he turns out to be a wonderful man and hubby to someone and a great daddy one day. Thanks to his little sister and brother, I think he will make an awesome dad! I am so proud of him the way he is with them. They both adore him and light up when he walks into the room. Logan gets so smiley when he sees him.

My poor sick baby girl

My poor baby girl is so sick. None of my kids have ever been this sick, so I am grateful for that. She has only been awake for maybe an hour total today. Her fever is gone for now, so that is good. Scared me to death when it was at 105.5. The dr said she has a severe kidney infection. I am waiting on French Hospital to get ahold of me (and yes, I do keep calling them) to get her ultrasound scheduled. I hope that shows why she keeps getting bladder infections as well. I am sitting here watching her sleep and I really need to wake her to get more meds in her. I so don't want to do that, cause right now, I have to hold her down and force it in her. She won't eat or drink anything so I can't mix it with anything until she is feeling better enough to eat / drink. Okay - time to wake her so I can go to bed.

The picture is Halloween 2008. Cassie was Belle and Logan was Kung Fu Panda. We took the kids trick or treating and I think daddy got tired before Cassie did! At one house, a lady was dressed as a witch and Cassie gave her a kiss and when we asked her why, she said she had too. Wonder what kind of candy she gave her. The one she got the most excited about was playdough. She asked at the next house if they had any playdough and when they said no, she said okay and told us, let's go to the next house and see if they have playdough. It became a mission.

My first blog

I am sitting here with Logan on my lap trying to type this. He is trying to bite my arm with his 2 razor sharp teeth. Cassie is in bed sick with a fever of 102. My poor princess. So I figured I would be home for the next couple of days and decided to start a blog so that our friends and family can watch the kids grow.
